HISTORY

The Hoyts Cinema Technology Group (Hoyts CTG) has developed with the changing demands of the cinema industry. Hoyts CTG was established in 2008 with the objective to design, build, implement and support Hoyts' cinematic technologies to the highest standard.

Hoyts CTG is now offering its service and support capabilities to exhibitors and other companies requiring assistance in the procurement, installation and ongoing support of digital cinema and related technologies.

Adam Wrightson

General Manager - Hoyts Cinema Technology Group

Over 20 years experience in developing complex mission critical IT solutions in Manufacturing, Banking and Cinema industries. Over the past 5 years, Adam has focussed on developing Digital Cinema solutions for exhibition and cinema advertising.

Bruce Ker

National Technical and Business Development Manager

With over 20 years’ experience working in the Cinema & Film Industry, Bruce’s hands-on experience in training, installation, configuration and servicing of digital cinema equipment includes a wealth of knowledge in sales, technical design, leadership experience in field management including service and support covering well over 750 installations to date.

Gary Watson

Customer Service and Logistics Manager

30 years experience in the cinema industry including roles in projection, technical support, cinema management and facilities management. Gary brings a wealth of experience to customer service, project and site planning, strategic sourcing and resource scheduling.

Dean Turner

Technical Events Manager

20 years experience in the cinema industry as a projectionist and digital cinema technician. Dean has executed hundreds of premieres, special screenings and corporate events. Dean has installed and calibrated auditoriums for leading Hollywood directors including James Cameron, George Lucas and more.

Geoff Henry

General Manager - Development and Business Systems

15 years experience in systems engineering and integration, software development, electronics and automation across a range of industries. Geoff brings an enterprise-wide approach to designing fit for purpose solutions for all aspects of cinema operations including, Vista Ticketing, Digital Cinema integration and Online platforms.

Michael Russell

Development Manager

20 years’ experience in travel and cinema advertising, Michael has spent the last 12 years developing software systems for the Cinema Advertising industry.  Michael is an expert in software development and design bringing a wealth of knowledge around onscreen advertising, digital signage, content delivery and the integration into digital cinema systems.
